How can we help?
A clear path back to your reading. Find answers and manage the parts of the publication that belong to you.
Questions readers ask
Do I need an account to read?
Public stories are open to everyone. A story marked for readers needs a free account, and a member story needs active membership. An account also lets you comment, follow topics and writers, and keep a reading list across devices.
How do I choose what appears in my feed?
Follow writers and topics you enjoy. For you combines those choices with your reading, saves and reactions, while Latest follows publication time and Following focuses on your follows. Use the story menu to hide a story or mute a writer or topic. Refine recommendations gives you these controls together.
Can I turn off reading history or personalization?
Yes. In Settings, switch off personalized recommendations or reading history. Turning history off deletes the stored reading sessions. You can also clear history while keeping the feature enabled.
Where are my saved stories?
Open your Reading list. Guest bookmarks stay in the current browser. Signed-in saves belong to your account. Importing browser bookmarks is a choice, so the publication doesn't silently combine libraries.
How do responses work?
Sign in and write your thoughts beneath a story. Editors review responses before they become public. Your name is shown with an approved response, and your email remains private. You can see review status and withdraw a pending response in Your responses.
How do I listen to a story?
Members can open Listen beside a story's reading controls. Once the story is ready, press Play and choose a voice or reading speed. Pause, resume and stop are available. This uses your device/browser speech engine, so voices vary. It is article narration rather than Quran recitation.
How do I change email or notification preferences?
Choose response, follow and publication notices in Settings, and optionally request a weekly digest. Email unsubscribe links stop only the email category named in the link. In-app notices can be read and marked from Notifications.
Can I change the appearance?
Choose Light, Dark or System in the account menu or Settings. System follows your device preference. Your reading layout stays the same in every appearance.
How can I manage or cancel membership?
Open Membership in Settings, then Manage billing. The secure billing portal handles payment methods and cancellation. A checkout return alone doesn't grant access; the billing provider must confirm the subscription. If a new payment is still confirming, refresh Membership shortly.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Use password recovery to request a reset email. A reset link expires after 30 minutes. If you originally used Google or GitHub sign-in, use the same provider. Check spam folders and avoid requesting multiple links at once.
How do I export or delete my account?
Use the account section in Settings to download your data or delete a reader account. Deletion is permanent and removes the reader records in this application. A paid account's subscription must be canceled before deletion can complete. Editorial accounts require administrative support.
Can I publish an article here?
Sign in and apply to write with your experience, expertise, and an original writing sample. Editors review each application before an administrator enables writer access. Approved writers prepare drafts in Your stories and submit them for editorial review. Read the editorial principles to learn about our approach.
